Format of data required for registration of School/Institution and Teachers for ELLI
School
We will require the Name and (if a school), DFES Number and name of LEA of the school/institution

For each group of class teachers who want to do the ELLI profile we require the school to identify an ELLI 'champion' and then provide us with some simple data for this person and the teachers themselves. The ELLI 'champion' will have a special status as an ELLI information officer for the school.

The table below shows the format of data required for teachers that will be loaded directly to the ELLI Online system. It consists of 8 columns as shown below. All columns, except col 4 (which should be left blank), are required.
The data has to be either:
- a TAB separated text file, without column headings following the format of the table below. You can create this kind of file from an Excel spreadsheet file by simply saving the spreadsheet as a file of type Text (Tab delimited) (*.txt);
- or an Excel spreadsheet.
You can email us with the School information we require (see top of this page) and attach the student data file to the email. You should send your email to your ELLI contact person.
